His investigation will lead him to 12th Century Ireland, to a time of the Viking invasion and conquest, to an albino known as The White Devil of Dublin, and to a shocking secret his family kept hidden for more than eight hundred years. He will also come face-to-face with a present-day albino serial killer, intent on finishing the job he started.

And now, an excerpt from The White Devil of Dublin...

A figure came between Ryan and the television screen, and he glanced up as Cait took his hands in hers. Her touch was electric, as though a bolt of lightning was shooting straight through him. She had always done that to him, he realized; from the first time they’d touched… to every time they touched. Without a word, she spread his arms, settled across his lap, and then embraced herself with his muscular biceps. She nuzzled her face against his neck, kissing him along a path that led up to his ear. As she nibbled on his earlobe, she used one hand to thread through his hair. Everywhere she touched, he felt charged as if every nerve ending was gloriously ablaze.

He leaned into her, closing his eyes. He was enveloped with her light floral fragrance, surrounded by her love, and he wanted nothing more than to clear his mind of everything except her presence.

She kissed his nose and then raced her finger along the bridge, a smile creeping across her face.

He realized in that moment, as he had countless times before, that she completely mesmerized him. Her eyes were as tumultuous as the roiling waves of the Irish Sea, set under long, curved black lashes. In those depths, he could see the same physical intensity he felt. Her brows were dark brown and gently arching; her cheekbones were high and flushed, her lips full and enticing as they parted.

Her brunette hair had been hastily pulled into an untidy bun and clipped, and now he reached to the back of her head and released it. Her long, silky tresses tumbled over her shoulders until they cupped her breasts. He threaded his fingers through it, reveling in the sleek strands, basking in the sweet aroma. There was something carnal about her hair…

She leaned toward him and he pulled her the rest of the way, tasting her lips as if it was the first time. One hand slipped to her derriere, squeezing it gently before moving along her thigh and back up again. He longed to strip her right then, right there; and he longed to savor this moment forever.

Her hands moved along his powerful biceps; she seemed to revel in the feel of his muscles under her fingers and she moaned slightly as she pressed her lips more firmly to his. Her face was intense and relaxed, forceful and soft, firm but yielding, all bundled into one magnificent package.

And she belonged to him.

He folded his arms around her, sweeping her so close to him that he could feel her heart beating against his chest. No, he corrected himself; she did not belong to him. He belonged to her. He always had. Even before they’d ever met, the dreams of his soul mate, of his eternal love, had haunted him. And since she had arrived in his life, he belonged to her—lock, stock and barrel, from the tips of his toes to the top of his head, to every thought, every moment, every breath.

“I love you, Ryan O’Clery,” she whispered. Her voice was hoarse and whispered and urgent. “I love you more than Life itself.”

He could not get close enough to her; he could not get enough of her. She was his soul. He grasped her hips and then encircled her with arms that wanted to be everywhere at once. He knew then, and he knew now, that he loved her more than Life; indeed, he would embrace Death if he knew she was on the other side.
