Synopsis

Stay. Stay with me. Stay here. Stay close. Stay like this forever. Stay as happy as I am right here in your arms, always.

All I’ve ever wanted was to be loved, but if this is what true love is…I’m not so sure I want it anymore. It also makes me wonder if any of my memories of our once happy marriage are even real. Maybe I just conjured up the fairy tale in my head because I wanted…no…needed it so much. Who the hell knows?
“Molly just called to remind you about your book club meeting this afternoon.” He turns away. “I told her you’ve never missed a meeting and I doubt today would be any different.”
The door shuts behind him before I let a smile creep across my lips. Instantly, the hurt from this morning flees my mind and I feel nothing but giddiness. I have a book club meeting today, and let’s just say it’s not your everyday book club.
Sure, my husband may never truly love me again…but who needs love when you’re about to get an eyeful of hot firemen?

Tell Me You Love Me is the first in a four-book series called Fire Me Up—a sweet romantic comedy series about a group of sassy neighborhood women who have a serious love for steamy romance novels and sexy firemen. Lucky for them the local firehouse is just a few steps away and is in no shortage of hot firefighters to fill their wild imaginations.

 Review

This is a story of a woman who, at one time, was married to what she thought was the man of her dreams. That is, until she realizes differently another man helps her to come to this realization.
Lizzy is a stay at home wife who since being married has gained a few pounds and her husband never lets her forget it. He degrades her and makes her feel worthless, the only thing that makes her happy is her book club that gets together to discuss the latest literary releases, or so you think.
Lizzy gathers with her friends from time to time on the hill where the hottie firemen do their endurance training and the firemen always stops to chat. She never really paid attention to them until the latest fireman appears and like a bolt of lightening everything in her life changes.
Ryan has transferred back to the area to be near his family and after a bad breakup has no real desire to start with someone else.Until  he comes to the hill and sees this beautiful creature known as Lizzy.
The relationship between these two is slowly built as Lizzy is still married and she would never cheat on her husband. But in a brief moment, all becomes clear to Lizzy that she has to divorce and finally find happiness. Unfortunately Ryan is hurt when he realizes the woman he had been working to get wasn't free to be his and takes off.
The time away from each other was heartbreaking to read for me cause the agony just leaped off the pages, it made me sad and I even shed a few tears for all that Lizzy and Ryan were going through.
No two people deserve a happily ever after the way these two did. We also get a snippet of what the next book will be about.
I give this book 5 happy stars.
