Synopsis
Can love truly save a life?

June Russell is a free spirited artist living her dream life in her recently inherited beach cottage on Oak Island. She is addicted to coffee and clutter, and with her quirks and mother issues, she is perfectly content to be alone, feeling her life is utterly complete. But when the adorable Tucker Mitchell helps her out of a sandy situation during an altercation on the beach, the powerful sparks are hard to ignore.

Despite the facts that they are completely opposite and not looking for love, they fall—hard, neither one seeing it coming. And just when they think life couldn’t get any sweeter, illness strikes, blindsiding them both. Will they overcome despite the odds against them? Or, just when they have found each other, will fate play a cruel joke and separate them forever?

Review
Jane Russell is a pretty independent woman, she's a talented artist and hell bent on making it on her own, far away from her mother's dominating ways.
During a little mishap at the beach she meets the charming Tucker Mitchell.
Tucker is a dream guy. He's sweet, he's caring and from the beginning, despite Jane's quirks, he's always there for her supporting her. They become fast friends and that friendship blooms into a beautiful romantic relationship.
When the relationship is at its best and these two people are enjoying life, tragedy strikes and it's then that true love is put through the test.
If you're looking to read hot sexy scenes this is not the book for you, but if you're looking for a sweet and incredible loving relationship, this is definitely the book for you.
I identify myself 100% with Jane. The girl was living the life I want to live and good for her. I love a strong heroine in a book, someone who's going to fight for what she wants and never take no for an answer, that is definitely Jane.
My heart went to Tucker, you need to read the book to understand why, but what an amazing guy he is.
This book has a couple of powerful messages in it and (fight for what you want, love and the support from those you love can make a big difference in life, and perhaps the help you win the ultimate fight)  these are only some of the reasons why I liked it so much and felt so drawn to it. I highly recommend this book and I'll be checking out others from this author.

About the Author

I am a wife of nineteen years and a mother of three amazing kids. I consider myself as fun-loving and a bit peculiar. Besides writing, I love reading, the color purple, Star Wars, decorating on a budget, and dancing while I cook(I can see my kids rolling their eyes as we speak). I believe whole-heartedly that chocolates and a good book go hand in hand. And, having experienced it myself, believe utterly in the power of true love.

I am very hands-on with my fans and thrive on their interaction.

My upcoming works include:

*The Drake Triplet's Story (No title yet)
And maybe something about Zombies, Bullying, and perhaps the end of the world, although not necessarily in that order.

  1. Great review! I can identify with Jane as well--I'm in my 40's, never married, and a guy like Tucker hasn't saved me from a sandy mishap yet LOL.
