Blog Tour: Her Journey by Rachael Orman

Title: Her Journey (Her Series #2)
Author: Rachael Orman
Genre: Erotic Romance
Publication Date: August 27, 2014

He’s exactly what she doesn’t need…
He’s exactly what she shouldn’t want…
He’s exactly what she should stay away from…
But she can't.

After losing her mother, Melia knew her life would never be the same, she just didn’t expect it to be so drastically different. Her mother’s final wish was something that not only changed her life but also the way she lives it. And it put her right in front of a man that angers her as much as he excites her.

Patrick ‘Wrench’ Ryan is president of the Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. He’s strong, tough, and his word is law, but his sister knows how to get the upper hand with him. So, when she showed up with Melia and told him she’s staying in the club house, it didn’t take much to get him to relent. He tried to play nice, but Melia gets under his skin.

Things change when the club’s biggest foe escalates their rivalry in an attempt to bring the Tormented Souls President to his knees. It’s up to Patrick to protect his sister and the things most important to her. Will he be able to keep everyone safe? Will Melia get caught in the crossfire? Or will it all be for nothing in the end?

This is the second book of the series and is about Melia and Patrick.
Patrick is the prez of the MC and is also known as Wrench. He is also the CEO of a company specializing in beer, and as the president of the MC he wants to divert the it from illegal activities. He is a die hard alpha male and more times than not uses women and discards them like yesterday's trash. His word is law and if you don't like it, well them, tough. All that changes when he meets Melia for the first time.
Melia is a surrogate mother for Ryan and Ellis in this book. As you remember Ryan suffered from cancer in the first book and has survived all her cancer treatments and thanks to Melia, her and Ellis are now going to become parents.
Melia is a strong woman and survived a horrendous childhood. Because of her past, she finds it hard to be around people who are rough and treat people with little to no respect. When she meets Wrench his actions convinces her more than anything else that people like him were not to be messed with and certainly has no place in her life. So she will be happy to continue with the surrogacy and being a photographer.
From the moment Patrick and Melia come together, sparks fly. She refuses to back down from him and he refuses to allow her to continue to speak to him the way she does.
Opposites attract and these two prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Hate turns quickly into love, but after being burned before Patrick won't push Melia for what he wants in fear of losing her, and Melia won't confess her feelings to Patrick cause he has proven to her he is a player through and through.
This book had a great plot and we get to see Patrick POV giving the reader an understanding as to why he acts the way he does toward Melia, making the reader love him even more.
There were parts that made me get teary eyed and find myself yelling out go beat his ass Wrench. Go show him what happens when he messes with your woman.
I loved the happily ever after this couple obtained and am anxiously awaiting Monk's story which luckily will be next.
I gave this book 4.5 stars and hope y'all enjoy as much as I did.

Stay at home mother of two with a passion for reading almost as much as writing. She is often found curled up with her Kindle reading while her children cuddle up on either side 'reading' books of their own. Married for almost ten years to the most wonderful husband and father, she couldn't ask for more out of life. Except maybe to live somewhere not quite as hot as the desert she currently lives in.
