Title: Spin (Songs of Corruption #1)
Author: C. D. Reiss
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: March 12, 2014
Synopsis
Mafia capo, Antonio Spinelli blew through my orderly life like a cyclone.
Gorgeous and passionate, with a breathtaking brutality, he put me under his spell the moment he touched me, drawing me into his underworld of risk, violence and betrayal.
And I found, just as this sophisticated savage didn’t trust me, I didn’t trust myself. Something happened to me. Some alchemy from the heat between us.
I discovered I was a savage, too.

My Review
Spin introduces us to Theresa Drazen. She’s a socialite, a good
woman and a good sister, problem is she’s
very unlucky in love. Theresa was engaged to the DA and a candidate to Mayor of
LA Daniel, and even helped Daniel’s political campaign. That is, until she
found him in bed with his speechwriter.
She keeps a cordial relationship with Daniel (she’s a better
woman than I will ever be) and on her free time she helps her now roommate (Katrina)
to finish the movie she’s been working on. One night, while out with her brother
Jonathan, she walks by a handsome stranger at the club they’re in. A handsome
stranger, who she can’t forget about. A few
nights later and under extenuating circumstances she gets a chance to meet the
handsome stranger, learning his identity.
From the very beginning the chemistry between Theresa and
Antonio ‘Spin’ Spinelli is palpable. Soon she will find out that Spin is an
alleged murderer and mob boss. Will Spin’s lifestyle stop Theresa from starting
any kind of relationship with him or this good girl will turn bad for the man
she falls for? By the way, the sex scenes between Spin and Theresa are off the
charts, they’re hot and very raw, with an edge of sweetness.
C.D. Reiss don’t disappoint, she has a magical way to relate
the story that transport you to the life of the characters you’re reading
about. A couple of times I found myself
under the scrutiny of Spin’s associates and truthfully, a little scared, but
this is the beauty of her writing. She writes very strong characters but
somewhere along the way she will show you that they’re also vulnerable and you
will fall for them. Highly recommended, can’t wait for more corruption….

About the Author
CD Reiss lives smack in the middle of Los Angeles with her children and husband. She likes to make pretty pictures and write dirty scenes. She eats dark chocolate and chili, together, sometimes with bacon, and doesn't care what you think about that. There are a million more things she could tell you about herself besides that, but they're all too boring to mention in company.
