A hot ER doctor who the nurses call Dr Baby, very open and happy with his sexuality battling with the man he loves to accept himself and show the world that there's nothing wrong with loving another human being openly. Closet Confession give us a very steamy scene between two people who love each other in the dark and the beauty that it is to come to terms with who you really are. #LoveIsLove
Divorce is always a hard pill to swallow, as well as seeing your ex-husband with his new flavor working at the same hospital and hearing the rumors going around is never an easy thing to live through day in and day out. But a helpful encounter with an unexpected man brings Joss back to life and shows her that beyond her divorce, she's still beautiful, she still desirable, and that she still has plenty to give to the right man. The Healing Touch of a beautiful soul teaching a doctor that she's worth it of love again.
Swimming in Shadows is a prequel as well. A retired Navy Seal and detective hunted by the memories and guilt, trying to find answers he needs to achieve some peace he's reunited with the woman who's been in his memories forever. I've never read any work from this author and I was surprised how this short story affected me, you can feel the anguish this man is going through. This is the beginning of a series I'll be looking forward to read.
This really is a fantastic collection of short stories. I admire the love and devotion these ladies put into their work and the fact that they're doing this to help others just makes me more of an advocate to support all they do.
