Check out Cobra & Mia’s Story
BOOK: Gods & Monsters
AUTHOR: Jani Kay
SERIES: Scorpio Stinger MC – Book Three
RELEASE DATE: April 13th, 2015
SYNOPSIS
I never look in a mirror. I
don’t need to. If I want to see what I look like, I just look at my twin.
Daemon and I are identical in every way — from the outside. That’s
where it ends.
Born five
minutes after me, my brother hates that he came second. It irks him that I
breathed life into my lungs first. Ever since he’s been trying to steal
everything I have. Everything I love.
To own it
first.
Until the
day I, Cobra Malone, become president of the Scorpio Stinger MC. I throw him
out like the garbage he is. Rotten filth won’t be able to taunt me any longer.
How wrong I
am.
Evil knows
no barriers. It stops at nothing. It won’t rest until it gets what it wants.
And he wants what is mine. MINE. He wants my woman. My air. My reason for
living.
I’ll die
before I let him take Mia from me.
Will this be a battle to the end? Till the last man is left standing?
Will this be a battle to the end? Till the last man is left standing?
When two
wills this strong clash, there will be chaos . . . and blood.
Who will
win? The God or The Monster?

Review
What do you do when the life you have been living that seemed to be perfect suddenly starts falling apart at the seams, when you feel you are slowly losing your mind with both fear and heart wrenching sadness? You get a book that is about our Cobra and Mia, and the taste of bitter betrayal that has them feeling every emotion under the sun.
This new installment of the Scorpions MC is about our pres and his queen, how they came to be, and how nothing and no one will tear them apart.
Cobra is 16 and on his first trip to Mexico with his club he meets this beautiful young girl named Alessandra. Even at the young age of 11 it is plain to see that she will be stunningly beautiful and for some reason, just being near her makes him feel a peace he has never known before.
Alessandra may only be 11 but in her young mind she knows she has met her own personal hero in a 16 year old Cobra. She's even more convinced when this young man steps up and protects her and her mom from her father, she knows then and there that someday Cobra will be all hers. She will just have to wait until she grows up to make him hers.
Six years go by and she sees less and less of Cobra but her feelings for him become more intense. And just when she decides the next time she sees Cobra she will make her play for him, a secret her father has kept hidden from her comes to light and she knows her chance with Cobra has come to an end.
Cobra has known since Alessandra was 11 years old what her father's plan for her was, it hurt him to know what was going to happen to the beauty that he cared for so deeply for. He fought his feelings for years, but when the day arrived for her father's plans to take place, he decides he can't allow it to happen. He won't allow his Angel to be taken from him, so he does the only thing he can, he rescues her.
We all know from the last book what this couple is currently going through, and in this book we get the entire story of why Cobra's twin brother, Demon, does what he does. Although, I found the ending to the situation with Demon most fitting, I wish he would have received a little more, shall we say, "love" from his brother and sister in law, or maybe from Ryder. You know, the kind that Demon showed to his precious sister in law.
I won't tell you what I thought it should have been, you're just going to have to read it to find out.
I really enjoyed this book and I liked that we got the history of our power couple while getting an insight into a Ryder without Jade, Jani Kay didn't disappoint. I always knew that Cobra and the now Mia held a special bond but finding out how that bond was made have me chill bumps. And then the last little bit from Demon's POV made me jump in the bed yelling, yes! yes! I knew it!
I give this book 5 stars and can't wait to get the next installment.
Love this series!!!

Scorpio Stinger MC Reading Order
===============================================
Meet Jani Kay
Jani has been married for a long time to a special man, and her two children and their partners are the sunshine in her life. She is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.
Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled
the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization
that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby
- Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects
are her family and her travels.
Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people,
about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most
difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately
desires (in her humble opinion).
