Tour Blog: Front and Center by A.M. Madden

Jack was a rock star on the way to fame. Leila was following her dream and joining his band as a back-up singer. An insane attraction sparked between them that they couldn’t deny. Attraction quickly led to so much more. They ignored all the warnings and fell in love.

When the couple embark on their tour, they couldn’t be more excited to travel the country hand in hand on the way to stardom. The road ahead is filled with miles and miles of possibilities. Along with their band, Devil’s Lair, they feel nothing could stop them.

An angry ex-band-mate, a pregnant ex-girlfriend, and never-ending Internet gossip all attempt to wreak havoc on their developing relationship. New love does not mix well with stress, pressure and guilt. Together they face each and every challenge, stubbornly fighting for what they have. Will their determination be enough?

Review

This is a great  follow up for A.M. Madden's first book the Back Up.
Jack and Laila are on tour with the rest of the band and career wise things seem to be looking up for both of them, aside for some internet gossip, their success as a band is a sure thing.
In their personal lives things are a bit more complicated, a jealous ex with a evil plan to brake them up, and a jaded ex band member looking for revenge make their relationship strained almost to the point of breaking.
What no one was counting on was a very smart heroine that will go to any lengths to save the relationship and the man she loves.
The story grabs you from the very beginning and takes you on a roller coaster ride of angst, laughs, sadness, hot sexy scenes, and above all, complete loyalty and trust between the characters.
Fidelity is a big issue for me in some of these books but Mr. Lair proved himself to be faithful to Laila even when things weren't looking too good for them. I loved the way that Laila was willing to go to any extends to save their relationship and the man she loves. The way the secondary characters are intertwined with the main characters and they all have an important role to fill instead of being fillers makes for a very comforting and caring environment when it comes to the band, it almost feel like you're part of their family while reading the story.
I really enjoyed the first book but I have to admit that I liked this one better than the first. A.M. Madden outdid herself with the second book of this series and I can't wait to read the third and final installment.
