Synopsis
She went looking for a hero. She got tangled up in Blue…
Keegan needs a hero, even if she doesn't know it yet. She's a straight-A student with a high-profile job on campus. She's got a lot to prove. But someone's out to get her. Someone's got her running scared. And she runs right into the arms of a red-hot boy named Blue.
Deep down, Blue is still the brave soldier who risked his life for others. He's still a hero, even if he no longer believes it. All he wants now is to make music and bury the secret that could destroy his future. Blue tries hard to be a good guy. But he's wrestling with demons he can barely control. And when Keegan moves into his house and very quickly into his heart, his control begins to slip away.
Keegan and Blue can't stay away from each other, can't stop thinking about each other. They have a connection—body, mind and soul—they cannot resist. But it will cost them dearly. Secrets have a way of exploding into the light, and sometimes heroes can be heartbreakers. Is Blue the love of Keegan's life, her knight in shining armor? Or will he turn out to be an agonizing mistake?
AUTHOR’S NOTE: TANGLED UP IN BLUE ends with a cliffhanger. SHELTER FROM THE STORM (Book #2) concludes the story.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE is Book One in the New Adult series, Ikana College. The series is set in an Oklahoma college town and revolves around a group of students from wildly different backgrounds who find themselves living together in a ramshackle party house known as the Canadian Embassy. Lots of love, lust and drama ensues, accompanied by some damn good music. Along the way, they have to wrestle with the real-life consequences of not only their own actions, but also those of the imperfect adults around them. Book Two, Shelter from the Storm, continues (and concludes) the love story of Keegan and Blue.

If you want a story that will keep you captivated and leave you begging to know what happens next, this is the story for you.
Blue and Kendall are two people who are perfect for each other. They are the Ying to the other's Yang, Blue is just the epitome of a perfect male companion, not only does he take responsibilies for his own actions but he never lets his lady forget that she is the one that is most important to him, he's also intense and very kind. Keegan is an overall nice girl who keeps to herself but on the other hand due to her chosen profession she wants to see and know it all.
The easy flow of this story had me hooked from start to finish. Just beware, this book ends on a cliffhangar, which usually makes me mad, but this time while I found myself wishing I had the next book immediately, I'm willing to be patient for another good book.
I like that the sex scenes in this book were well written and didn't drag on forever and were more to the point so we could get back to the situations at hand, they didn't take away from the main storyline like some books do. This is a story written with dual pov's with superb characters.
highly recommend this book and encourage the next book soon.
