Blog Tour: Devil's Game by Joanna Wylde

Devil's Game (Reaper's MC #3)

Author: Joanna Wylde

Release Date: June 3, 2014

Sypnosis:

Liam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her. Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn't afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One. Or so she thinks.

 Review

This is the third book in the Reaper's series and is about a plan for revenge that turned out to be a dream come true for more than one.

Liam is a Devil's Jack and is known as the national sergeant of arms. He has been ordered to go after the daughter of the Devil's Jacks most hated enemy, The Reapers, to get info from her and report it back to the club.To Liam aka Hunter this is an easy job and one he has performed many times and has never had a problem doing it. Until he met her.
Emmy Lou Hays is the daughter of the president of the Reapers MC, Picnic, and is tired of having the whole club always cutting in on her boyfriends and is tired of carrying her V card around. She has wanted a member of the MC for a long time but after he pushed her away for a club whore she has decided to for go the whole alpha biker because all they want is to get close to her in order to get close to Picnic. Then she meets Liam and she thinks she has found the man of her dreams. Until his betrayal is revealed and then she feels like the biggest fool ever.
This book was the best yet in this series. The story has an easy to follow flow and at no time did I lose interest in what I was reading.
This book has a lot of action in it and has some funny dialogue thrown in at just the right time to make this girl a very happy camper.
Liam and Em find their happily ever after despite all the people who for one reason or another don't want to see them together.
We get a glimpse of our favorites from books past and are introduced to a couple new characters that I am looking forward to getting to know better in the future.
I give this book a 5 star rating based on the interesting story line, an alpha badass biker who even with the rough life he has lead still finds a way to be kind and gentle. A female lead that isn't whiney and can hold her own against anybody, even though her daddy is prez of the MC she doesn't run to him to fix anything for her, instead she pushes him back and says I will handle this on my own. The book had some gritty, not dark, MC dealings against people who have wronged our beloved Reapers,  and more than anything else the ease in which you find yourself a part of the lives of these people portrayed in the book. Ms.Wylde has a way of writing a scene that  while you read it, you can picture yourself on the back of this bike or in the front seat of that truck. You can feel the cold on your face from freezing rain falling on you. She's a great author that has the ability to transport you where the characters are, something that a few authors out there have. But JoAnna Wylde can pull it off time after time after time.
I want to say thank you for allowing me to read this ARC and giving me the privilege of sharing my experience with the story. I am looking forward to this book to reach everyone and I know they will be as happy as I am with Liam and Em's story.
