Review
This book is third in the Prairie Devils MC series and is the best one yet. It is dark and gritty and if you like an MC novel that tells more of the rougher side of the MC life, then this one is for you.
Shelley "Saffron" Reagan is the heroine in this book, and she is far from being weak and timid. She is strong willed and nothing can break her. She can take what people dish out to her and serve it back at them with incredibly intensity.
Michael "Blaze" Strum is our alpha hottie in this book, and he lives up to his road name. He will blaze the bloomers off your bootie.
He is the prez of the new chapter of the Prairie Devils MC and will take no crap from anyone when it comes to his club or the one woman who's constantly in his mind. He never wanted an old lady but that all changed after meeting his Saffron.
This book was action packed from the start.The emotional tugs that are thrown in as things are being revealed had me cringing at times, thinking my god, how does this poor woman keep her wits about her. She will win your heart for sure and is by far the toughest old lady I have read about in any MC book, EVER! And Blaze is the perfect combo of cocky badass biker with a heaping dose of protectiveness toward the true love of his life, Saffron. He will right the wrongs done to her no matter the cost and won't care who's standing in his way while doing it.
If you are looking for a smooth road on the way to a happily ever after, then don't read this. Don't get me wrong, you will get your happily ever after but the road taken to get there is a rocky one and at times brutal. All the brutality just adds to the underlying love story between these two people.
I give this book a 5 star read because of the strong willed Saffron and because I love me an alpha hottie who doesn't mistreat his woman and because he doesn't ever lose sight of what matters the most to him. His club and his old lady.
I am looking forward to more of this series.
