Room For You (Cranberry Inn) by Beth Ehemann

I just want to say, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Synopsis:

Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew how, but something was always missing.

A father for my two girls.

But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree, playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He left me more confused than I had ever been.

Review

Ladies, meet your next BBF, Mr. Brody Murphy...

I saw a little "Christmas message" from Brody on a blog and I thought it was very sweet so I decided to buy the book and see if I liked it. I didn't just like it. I LOVED it!
When I pick up a book I always hope to be able to get into the characters and 'live' their stories, that's what happened with Room for you.
From the beginning you feel for Kacie. She fell in love and started a family with the guy she thought she was going to spend her life with. As it often happens, her prince charming was really a frog and left her with only a note to raise their twin girls.
Kacie and the girls moved to her mom's Bed and Breakfast and started a new life. She lives a pretty normal life putting her twin's needs first and going to school, until one stormy afternoon a handsome stranger comes to the Inn looking for shelter.
Brody Murphy is a handsome, carefree hockey player and his life revolves around the game he loves, his family and friends and his dog, until he meets Kacie.
From the beginning the chemistry between Kacie and Brody is palpable and what starts like a friendship develops into a very sweet and devoted relationship with up and downs.
The story is written in a dual point of view which helps you understand the characters more. I loved that even the secondary characters are incredibly entertaining and soulful. You also have your bitchy, I want to smack them characters but even those are an important addition to the story.
Did I say I loved this book? I can't wait until February to read the next one, really looking forward to it. For now, hurry up and buy the book, enjoy Mr. Brody and leave a review for Beth, you won't regret it!
