Rand Bishop’s dreams of Olympic gold were shattered years ago but he’s left that all behind, settling into a new career and lifestyle that would make any man jealous. While he may not be competitively racing down the ski slopes anymore, he’s just as happy getting his rocks off as a Fantasy Maker for The Silo.
He’s good at what he does.
Damn good.
But while life couldn’t be better for Rand, it seems to be falling apart for Catherine Lyons Vaughn, the dark haired, brown-eyed beauty that has captivated an entire sex club.
Having spent years degrading herself on her husband’s whim and now left destitute after his death, Catherine has hit rock bottom. With nothing but her body to peddle, Catherine is merely trying to figure out how to survive in a harsh, cruel world. Lucky for her, Rand has taken her under his tattooed wing, and he’s determined to give her a safe life where she can be the woman she was always meant to be.
Now all Catherine has to do is believe she deserves the chance.

Review
When it comes to the Wicked Horse Series we don't know what Sawyer Bennett is going to come up with, we only know that sexy times are going to be present.
This is perhaps the most touching story of this series so far. Catherine Lyons Vaughn thought that perhaps marrying an elderly patron at the establishment where she worked was going to be her ticket out of poverty and the life she was living. What she didn't realize at the time was the hell her future husband was going to put her through. She put up with everything he dished out losing hope to get out of the situation she was in. When her husband finally dies, one of his son's kicks her out of her house with no money to her name, so she ends up at the place that had been a bit of heaven and hell for her, The Silo.
Rand Bishop manages a tattoo parlor during the day and works at the Silo at night, he makes fantasies come true to some of the clients there, when he sees Cat in her car on his way out one night he gets the whole story behind her being there. He invites her to stay with him while she gets back on her feet and what develops is not only a friendship but a sensual relationship full of willpower, lust, and love.
I loved Catherine's character, she's been through hell and back while married to her old bastard of a husband, but while she fell down more than a few times, she was strong enough to pick up the pieces and stand up again. She was strong and definitely determined to get her life back in order, this time on her own terms. Rand is a gentleman through and through, I adored the devotion he showed towards Cat and how he helped her get her issues resolved. He was sweet, caring and well, let's just say it out loud, one hell of a lover.
And in Bennett's delightful ways there was plenty of sexy scenes as well as a bit of M/M goodness. What I liked the most about this story is that it was a journey of self discovery, of being the person you were meant to be, while forgiving yourself for the sins of the past.
I'm always pleased to see a little glimpse of past characters when I'm reading a new book in a series and also start imagining what the next one is going to be like. I'm *patiently* waiting for Bridger's story, so until then, I'll take whoever naughty, sexy boy she'll come up with next.
