In the words of Jim Carrey in The Mask... Hold on to your lug nuts boys it's time for an overhaul.
In this book the transformation in Hope is outstanding.
From the beginning of this series we've seen how Hope has slowly coming into her own while being with Rock, and Rock has always been the stronger of the two. Then the time comes when life as we know it gets turned on its axis, and at that time we have two options, let life run you down or find an inner strength to guide you through this situation. And Hope finds her inner strength and then some. Hope's transfromation was so well written that I found myself being in awe of the way she held herself through everything and never strayed from her main goal. Being strong for Rock and doing everything she could to help her man.
The story was easy flowing and I turned pages as fast as I could to see how the next part would unfold. Add in the side characters we have grown to love and this installment in the series is by far the best written yet.
We finally see what we have longed for since book one, and as an added bonus the way it was revealed to us makes me tip my hat to the author for the superb way she presented the ending.
I loved everything about this story and really hope to get more from this series.
Now I have a personal note for Autumn. I know the things that have been said about your books and I reached out to you on my opinions on these words and I am going to say it here for everyone to see. Don't let the nay sayers in this world rain on your parade. Always hold true to who you are and write the way the characters and the story takes you. As long as you are happy with your work and fans, like myself, and others are happy with the outcome, then nothing else matters.
I have been on board with your writing since word one and at no point and time have I ever thought OMG she just needs to stop this. No! Instead I have been like OMG I need more Rock and Hope. Or Wrath I love you I need a man like you ;-)
Keep doing you and never lose sight of what you see in your characters.
