Review

When we say the words until death do us part, they are easy to say, but when you are expected to live those words, it becomes harder and harder to do each day we live.
Until one day, we find ourselves looking at someone we thought we would never forsake and realize maybe, just maybe, the promises we made aren't possible to keep anymore. So what do you do then?
Ruben aka Ruby and Jenna have been together for ten years and have three beautiful children, and as far as Jenna is concerned, living a happy life. Both are working, both enjoy their children, and all is as should be. Or is it?
Ruby is wondering what has happened to his life. The thing that has always been foremost in his life now seems to be a noose around his neck, finding himself more and more wishing he could have his old life back, where he had only to worry about getting his wife naked and just enjoying things.
Jenna is a happy woman for the most part, but having three children and a husband, as well as a job is time consuming.  She is doing everything she can to just keep up with the demands of her family but she can sense something is wrong with Ruby, she doesn't know what it is, but doesn't have the energy to figure it out.
One night after yet another tense moment she asks her husband if he still loves her, what she receives in an answer she'll never dreamed she would hear, and her world comes to a crashing stop.
So being the woman who is still madly in love with her husband she does what she knows is right. Not for her but for him. When you love someone that much, the only thing you want is for them to be happy, right? And so begins the process of this couple's marriage.
This story holds so much truth in it that I found myself feeling bad for the couple. From personal experience I know how Jenna felt from waking each morning until finally being able to go to bed at night, at which point you cry yourself to sleep thinking tomorrow will be a better day.
Ruby is slowly going out of his mind not knowing how to fix what he has messed up and suddenly he realizes what was missing. But how to turn it around?
These two had many issues to work through, but in the end what it will be will be.
Emotional roller coaster to say the least, I loved the heroine and was so proud of how strong she was. Even with the bad situation going on Jenna never allowed her children to be caught up in the middle of two parents fighting in front of them and never resorts to demeaning their father to them.
Loved this book and hated to see it end.
