Review

This is the thing about Mia's books, she NEVER disappoints!
I loved Audra from the very beginning, you can feel that she's satisfied with the professional life she has made for herself, but deep inside there's something missing. And while she won't let the ones around her know what that something is, she is very aware of what, better yet who, is missing in her life. When she's confronted with the fear of losing the business she's been putting her heart and soul into for years, she has to go revisit her past in order to save her future. Dane is a very successful professional, he has it all in the eyes of people, but there's a loneliness in him, he's missing the love of the woman who once upon a time was his everything. When she comes back into his life, he will do anything necessary in order to help her and perhaps be a part of her life again.
This is a story full of longing for what once was, for the lover that was everything, for the happiness that used to be prevalent. This is a story about forgiveness and accepting that sometimes the worst situations have a way to bring people together and make them understand that they belong with each other.
Once again Ms. Sheridan's writing is superb, she's gifted when it comes to bringing the reader's attention and not letting go, to lodge into the reader's soul and make them be part of her character's journey. Angst, loss, redemption, and the magic of a re-encounter of two people who are pure magic together, make Dane's Storm a book which will, pardon the pun, will take your heart by storm and reaffirms what a fantastic storyteller Mia Sheridan is.
