Eight is a thing of beauty, although there is a soul wrenching pain you can feel throughout the book, there's so much beauty in that pain.
Josh went through something no partner should go through. Now he's in charge of his three year old little girl and a newborn, and he doesn't know what to do with himself, let along his babies. A chance encounter brings him the clarity he needs and he decides to do better for his children even though he's dying a little inside every single day that goes by.
Ibiza brings him a new new life, and something he never thought it would happened, a new love interest.
Ms. Carter has writen a poignant story full of love and so much hope. There are so many life lessons in this story, that I'm sure more than a few people that are going through a situation like Josh will find this to be a lifeline to help them start living and focus their life in the positive in front of them. There are not enough words to say how much I LOVED this story, the characters, the inspirational words this author has released into this world.
The author once again captivated me with her storytelling, her tale of loss, anger, pain, hopelessnes and the posibility that even when we're going through the darkest parts of our journey, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel that will guide us toward a better tomorrow.
