Blurb:
The moment I laid eyes on the new photographer at work, I had his number. Cocky, arrogant and super wealthy—women were eating out of his hand as soon as his tight ass crossed the threshold of our office.
When we were forced to go to Paris together for an assignment, I wasn’t interested in his seductive smile, his sexy accent or his dirty laugh. I wasn’t falling for his charms.
Until I did.
Until Paris.
Until he was kissing me and I was wondering how it happened. Until he was dragging his lips across my skin and I was hoping for more. Paris does funny things to a girl and he might have gotten me naked.
But Paris couldn’t last forever.

About the Author
USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels - the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series' The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters.
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.
Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn't have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!

Review
Jake Harrison agrees to do a favor for a friend and work as a photographer for a piece to be showcased in his magazine, it doesn't hurt that Jake knows the subject to be interviewed.
There, he meets Haven Daniels.
From the very beginning these two have an oil and vinegar type of relationship, mostly because Haven make assumptions about Jake and she sees him as everything she dislikes.
Haven is a bit of a bitch at work and although her attitude is kind of a turn off, she has reasons to feel and act that way. Jake has a way with Haven and kind of brings her real personality to come out to play, once this happens the relationship is a joy to watch.
But with all good things, there's always a bend in the road...
I very much enjoyed the book as well as the author's writing style. Her characters seem to be complex and well developed. There is a lot of emotional and life changing stages for these characters throughout the book. I loved to see how Haven showed so much growth from the beginning and how she came out of her shell, showing us a more mature woman. We see Jake is between a rock and a hard place due to the situation he sees himself involved in, you can almost feel how difficult it all is for him, his struggle. Even though I have to say, for such a smart man running a successful company, he acted pretty dumb when it came to his Millie.
The book has a bit of angst and at times I really wanted to scream at Jake to open up his eyes to the situation causing him such a heartache. But that is the beauty of a book well written, when it makes you want to jump in right in the story and give the characters a piece of your mind.
I adored the end, it was very touching, heartfelt.
