What are your thoughts on book covers- in your opinion do they make or break a book?
They definitely make or break a book.  I’ve found tons of great books just because of their covers.

What’s the last song you listened to?
Here by Alessia Cara

How do you come up with character names?  How do you come up with novel titles?
For character names, I spent a ton of time and made a list of first and middle names that I liked (kind of like when you’re having a baby) then when I need a name I just check out the list. I like my novel titles to have a sort of vague feeling to them until you read the book and then they make sense.

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?
Do it.  Writers are writers because they write. So write a story, join an author or writing group on Facebook and go from there.  I’ve made a ton of friends and learned so much from my writing group, the Writing Wenches.
