Review
Roxie Callahan is becoming a popular chef between the richest and  spoiled housewives in Hollywood, but a little mistake sends her life and career spiraling our of control. That's when the opportunity to save her mother once again from one of her crazy life adventures surfaces and she decides to move to upstate NY for the summer to take care of the family dinner.
Is there where she meets sexy farmer Leo Maxwell. Leo is not only hot, but he also comes from a wealthy family, despite that he's one down to earth guy. Availability, boredom, and the chance to have a summer fling with no strings attached bring these two together and sparks fly. Sexy, sensual, funny, loving sparks.
Alice is one of the few authors that can mixed a great love story with plenty of humor and wit. And she definitely does not disappoint when it comes to Nuts.
I loved that these two are imperfect characters. Roxie is a woman with insecurities, insecurities that most of all can relate to, specially when it gets to certain crossroads in out lives. Leo is sweet and caring but he does have certain baggage from past relationships, also something we can all relate to.  But once the relationship gets going they complement each other beautifully and help each other grow out of their hang ups.
If I could add something to the book it would be the desire of seeing a bit more of Leo's back story, just to give me a better understanding of the man and the choices he made.
It was also a pleasant surprise to see Grace and Jack Hamilton (from the Redhead Series) have a cameo in this book, I just loved them and their story!
If you're looking for a refreshing book that will make you laugh, hot and bothered, and definitely hungry (Roxie's culinary skills are out of this world, thank goodness she's not real or live close by me) then Nuts is the book for you.

About the Author
