If you're a fan of the Back Up Series, you can't miss this last
installment. And if you haven't read the series, what are you waiting
for?
Have you ever read a book that makes you scream, NOOOOOOOO!
And you just seat there asking yourself and if what you just read was
what really happened? The author pull at the reader's heartstrings and
shows that The Devil Lair is more than a band, is a family whose members
are ready to do whatever they have to to lift each other and see them
through any situation.
Madden delivers a story full of love,
camaraderie, and the certainty that you should never take those close to
you for granted. The story truly made me think at the cruelty that life
delivers sometimes, that in some occasions family are not those ones
related by blood, but those who stick by you through thick and thin and
want the best for you, those who go the extra mile. It also made me see
that when you find a soulmate who loves you and accepts you for who you
are, the heart finally feels settled and finds peace.
The
narrative flows beautifully and if you thought you held these characters
closed to your heart, you haven't seen nothing yet. There's plenty of
beauty in these relationships throughout the book in the form of humor,
tenderness, love, and brotherhood. I'd recommend that you read the other
books before you read this one so you can understand these characters
stories better. But let me warn you, once you do you'll be a #LairLover
