“There’s an open booth over there,” Starla said, moving toward the back left of the bar.
I followed close behind, the thought of my soon-to-be-ordered wings making my stomach growl.
I was thinking how good a large draft beer would go with said wings, when I looked to the right and saw two gorgeous guys. They had matching grins and dark hair, and were laughing up at the woman who was delivering their food.
One looked very familiar…
Wes.
My stomach clenched as his gaze shifted and landed on me, and my breath held as I waited for his acknowledgement. When he turned back to the server instead, without so much as a glimmer of recognition, my heart fell.

I had somehow found the discipline to wait Ellie out, to give her time to grow and thrive as an individual before allowing my obsession to consume all of her, though I could feel the elasticity of it contracting. My self-discipline had stretched to its limit. I needed to see her. I would claim one touch, maybe one kiss, then continue protecting her from a distance. Fucking liar. You’ll take everything from her. Don’t touch. I shook my head, my deliberations vacillating between what I knew was the truth and what I wanted to do, and jogged out to my car. The town celebration had already started, and this fucking liar wasn’t about to miss an opportunity to see her there. It didn’t take much time to catch up to her—there she was on the street just a few feet ahead of me. I would recognize her pretty arse anywhere. Stonington’s main streets were narrow, so I retreated into the crowd and crossed to the opposing curb from where I could see her face. Review
First of all let me say that in order to understand this fun and heartfelt novella you need to read the first three books on this series, Mackenzie, Jaybird, and Cougar to get familiar with the characters.

Now, let me tell you Jayla and Zach have loved each other for a long time, they separated for a while but destiny brought them back together. And this time, they were not going to waste any time to spend the rest of their lives together. Their love is definitely one for the ages despite they are stil young.

This book brings back characters from past books and is a delight to see where they are in their lives and how their lives and stories intertwines. I loved how the author celebrates the relationship Jayla had with her father, it was heartbreaking but heartwarming at the same time. Jayla is fearless and faithful to her family and friends, and Zach is the man who supports her and loves her with all his being.

Ms. Foster's writing is flawless and you can feel that she put her heart and soul bringing this beautiful story to her readers. I highly recommend you read this series, it won't disappoint.

Review

This was a very enjoyable story.

Nina is such a strong character, while she's a woman with a lot of drive she has a lot of baggage from her past that makes her believe she can't love anyone. Sebastian is a sweet guy who is the prince who is supposed to be king, but being a king is not what his heart longs for. Would Sebastian be the man Nina needs to help her understand that she's able to love, and would Nina be the one helping Sebastian to fulfill his heart desire when it comes to not being the king?

I loved both of these characters, they both have such a sweetness about them, you can feel that they care for each other deeply. Sebastian and Nina's chemistry was palpable and although their relationship happened pretty fast in my opinion, is believable. Like all of Kristen's books the writing is flawless and entertaining. I enjoyed seeing characters from the Big Sky books as well as the new characters that were introduced.

This is the first book in this series and it's a standalone. You won't be able to put it down.



Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups.
